I visited Banks Bistro over the weekend and liked the look and they even had a guy singing songs, it was all very quaint. Unfortunatley as the night wore on the amateur side was revealed. The starters & meals were extremely late. When we made reservations we were told that there was a choice of sweets but when our meal ended we were all given plated profiterols. It was basically take it or leave it. To be honest we had read the reviews and thought we were in for a treat, but in reality the treat was on them as they got paid and we suffered a miserable night. It was like being in 'Fawlty Towers' it was sooooo bad only we weren't laughing!! This place lacked friendliness, customer care & manners. If you are looking for a special place to go stay far away from here.......
