I went in there three weeks ago to get a mechanical vintage 18 carat white gold Zenith watch serviced. The watch was in perfect condition and also functioned perfectly. I told him not to screw the back down tight because I regulate my own watches on a Timegrapher for optimum accuracy. I went into the shop a week later to collect the watch after the service. When I got home I noticed the movement was scratched, the back would not screw down completely because the thread had been corrupted. I went back to the shop to complain and he denied all responsibility mentioning that is how he received the watch which was totally wrong because he received the watch in perfect condition. I rang him a couple of times later and he will not accept any responsibility for his hastily done incompetent service. A totally dishonest business. I will add I am a watch collector and look after all my watches
