There was one thing that impressed me more than anything else about this pub. It is so friendly towards disabled people. In fact I was reminded on returning to Cambodia where it is not so friendly, such is the success of the Disability Action Council in the UK, and the failure of its namesake in Cambodia. I was having a quiet pint by the bus stop window when a group came in - a mix of physical; sensory and psycho-social disabilities. All were obvioulsly at-ease with each other, and nobody (apart from me) paid any attention, such is their full inclusion there. No problem getting in and around; being served, etc.

I have omly eaten at this pub twice, and both on occasions when Wetherspoons was full,
The first time was a Friday early evening ... pub not too busy, but it still took 40 minutes and chasing up for food to arrive.
We went yesterday afternoon, about 1pm , and ordered food within 5 minutes of arrival. Did not appear too busy for a Saturday afternoon.
We placed orders for a table for 2, and a table of 4.
After 40 minute wait ... no food. I went to bar and was told they were struggling and stopped taking food orders. He went to check in kitchen, came back and said food would be 6-7 minutes
We are talking ham, egg and chips - and gammon and chips!!! 50 minutes.
Chips arrived "luke warm " as did the eggs.
My friends on other table then got served two of their meals, but were told there wouldnt be time to do other two meals before we left for theatre (2.30 performance). These meals were jacket potato and chicken tikka masala!!!
Of the two meals they did get, burger was undercooked, and chips cold.
We will not return there to eat. Something is desparately wrong there, and needs to be sorted, DISGRACEFUL!

We eat and drink in The Goose on are Trips up to Wolverhampton to watch Wolves from Bournemouth Excellent food very friendly and Staff and Patrons very welcoming A must visit

Cheap drinks. Gets very busy later on in the evening but pleasant early on in the evening. Good food during the day.
